The UCLA Jazz Reggae Festival is a two-day annual festival held on the ULCA Campus with one day featuring jazz and the other day featuring reggae and both performed by well known artists of the two categories of music. Since it is held in a University Campus, the festival mostly features youthful crowd which enjoys all types of music like jazz, hip hop, reggae and blues.
The Farmers Market Fall Festival is held in October every year to celebrate the spirit of the harvest season. The main attractions of the festival are pumpkin carving contests, hay rides, square dancing, live musical performances and a petting zoo for children. Since this festival is held over the weekend, it is usually attended by families who enjoy watching children oriented crafts and demonstrations.
The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books is held in April and is one of the largest literary festivals in the country featuring a large collection of books on every topic as well as round the clock discussions and talks between renowned authors, publishers and the novices of the field.
